What’s new: BioBuddy, an innovative e-learning platform focused on increasing access to science education, has been awarded a $50,000 grant from Ohio State’s Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship. This grant is part of a larger initiative supporting The Ohio State University student entrepreneurs.
Why is this significant? This funding and a year of coaching and mentoring will enable BioBuddy to develop its cutting-edge biology education tools further. Founder Chris Egasti emphasized that this support will help BioBuddy expand its platform, making complex scientific concepts more accessible to students nationwide.
What they said: “Our goal is to revolutionize science education and equip the leaders of tomorrow with essential tools for their studies” said BioBuddy’s founder. “With this grant, we can continue to innovate and enhance our offerings, ensuring students have the best resources to succeed.”
What’s to look forward to: BioBuddy plans to use the grant to refine its 3D educational tools and expand its reach, ensuring that more students can benefit from its innovative approach to learning.
